Hi! I'm Nadia.
I'm a Creative Manager and Brand Strategist based in Atlanta, Georgia.
For the last five years, I've provided in-house creative services for nonprofits and honed my skills in:
With my expertise in transforming half-baked ideas into engaging and accessible content, you can trust me to have a keen eye for uncompromising quality. I take pride in being a self-starter and a positive team player, always striving to go the extra mile to achieve our shared goals.
Projects
Raksha, Inc.
Donation Drive Flyers
Raksha maintained a pantry for their clients, mostly survivors of domestic violence, that need access to food, cleaning products, and hygienic products.
I introduced a system for advocates and social workers to submit their requests so that I can design flyers to distribute via print and online to encourage supporters to donate items, whether it was sanitary pads, ingredients, or basic household necessities.
Amplify Georgia Rebranding
I had the incredible opportunity to lead Amplify Georgia's rebranding efforts after an extensive strategic planning process. By guiding our staff and partners through interactive brainstorming and feedback sessions via MURAL and surveys, we successfully crafted a strong brand identity, defining its unique characteristics, voice, and tone. Together, we created a fitting new name and tagline that perfectly encapsulate our brand essence.
We worked with a talented designer to create a fantastic new logo. We ensured that the logo had various versions, adaptable to all sorts of collateral, to maximize our brand's reach and impact.
I would compare our rebranding to Mia Thermopolis's jaw-dropping transformation in The Princess Diaries. We went from a bit of a mess to looking sleek and polished, just like Mia when she went from awkward to regal.
Amplify Georgia
Reproductive Justice (RJ) Voter Toolkit
Amplify Georgia organized a series of events for the Atlanta RJ Week of Action, which focused on educating voters about a variety of local reproductive justice issues.
I developed the 2021 Georgia Reproductive Justice Toolkit, a nonpartisan guide on reproductive justice values and voting, which was distributed to event attendees and eventually uploaded to the website as a free resource.
Georgia Budget & Policy Institute (GBPI) Social Media Graphics
One of GBPI's 2022 goals was to build more engaging digital collateral, especially on social media. At the time, the visual brand was considered too formal for the audiences they were trying to reach.
I worked to improve GBPI's visual brand identity and saw a significant growth of 26.4% on their Instagram page, their most visual-heavy and community-oriented social media platform.
